Details

The Romanian Circuit Board Crushing Separating Line is a compact, high-efficiency PCB recycling project designed to process 100–200 kg/h of mixed electronic waste boards. The system focuses on stable mechanical crushing and precise metal–nonmetal separation, helping the customer achieve high-purity copper recovery and clean, environmentally compliant production.

1. Project Background

The Romanian customer processes:

  • Computer motherboards
  • Laptop and mobile phone PCBs
  • Home appliance control boards
  • Mixed small electronic waste

Their goals included:

  • A small-to-medium capacity line with stable performance
  • High metal recovery purity suitable for resale and refining
  • Reduced dust emissions to meet EU environmental requirements
  • Easy operation and low maintenance workload

The 100–200 kg/h system was selected to fit their workshop layout and long-term expansion plans.

2. On-Site Equipment Configuration

Motherboard Crushing & Separating Line
(1) Primary Shredding

  • Heavy-duty slow-speed shredder
  • Efficiently breaks down thick PCBs and multilayer boards
  • Low noise and dust control design

(2) Fine Crushing

  • Multi-stage crushing system
  • Produces 20–40 mesh material for optimal separation
  • Wear-resistant blades ensure long service life

(3) Airflow Gravity Separator

  • Separates fiberglass, resin powder, and nonmetal materials
  • Adjustable airflow for different PCB types

(4) Electrostatic Separator

  • Recovers fine copper, aluminum, and mixed metals
  • Final metal purity ≥ 98%
  • Very low metal loss and high separation precision
  • The line ensures clean, continuous material flow from feeding to final metal output.

3. On-Site Performance

After commissioning, the Romanian project achieved:

  • 100–200 kg/h continuous and stable capacity
  • High metal separation efficiency with minimal copper loss
  • Significant reduction in workshop dust due to negative-pressure filtration
  • Low power consumption and simple maintenance procedures
  • Smooth operation under Romania’s colder climate conditions

The customer reported substantial improvement compared to their previous manual and semi-mechanical processing setup.

4. Customer Benefits

Operational Advantages

  • Automatic material flow reduces labor demands
  • Stable output suitable for daily small-to-medium scale production

Economic Value

  • High-purity copper increases selling price
  • Low operating costs ensure fast return on investment

Environmental Compliance

  • Dust-free, noise-controlled system meets EU standards
